Being fitted for dentures requires a simple, low stress visit.
During this first appointment, any remaining teeth will be removed, and your dentist will make a wax-up model of your jaw. A temporary denture is immediately fitted at this time so patients won't need to go without teeth in the intervening time. Once your mouth and the permanent dentures are ready, you will be fitted for your comfortable, secure, custom dentures at another appointment.
